As a former Executive, she spent more than twenty years in corporate America directing and managing successful businesses valued in excess of $100 million. Her global experiences lead her to write the Amazon best-selling book “Healing the Corporate World”, one of the few women to rank in the top 10 of the business leadership category. In May 2018 “Values-Based Leadership for Dummies”™ launches.
Direct, to the point with a healthy dose of humor: Maria is a sought-after speaker on the topics of value-based leadership, gender, and team communication dynamics. She has worked with executives and groups from Capital One, Oppenheimer Funds, the Jamaican Government, Raymond James, Astra Zeneca, Mid-Atlantic Permanente, Kronos Incorporated, Women’s Health Business Association and Women’s MBA International. Additionally, she has partnered with Colonial Voluntary Benefits to help bring much needed critical illness benefits to corporations in the USA. She considers this a personal mission to help families secure their financial security during illness and injury.

She considers her passport to be her best accessory and is always on the lookout for a great adventure with her sweet husband. Together they live and entertain in their loft in Brooklyn, New York. You can always smell great food cooking at their house.
